47th Opera Season Tradition of the Pergolesi Theatre in Jesi (from 4 October to 30 November 2014)

(…) In the revived to Pergolesi in Jesi of “Tosca” by Puccini with staging, sets, costumes and lighting by Massimo Gasparon (…) we could appreciate the taste of tradition. Gasparon, the Pizzi school, has a precise figure of elegance, and confirmation in this “Tosca” (…). Struggling with vibrant opera score, in which the composer has combined music and theater and where the notes that become an essential part of its agony offer a vibrant symphony accompanying the unfolding of a story with strong colors, company of singers, orchestra and choir have offered a trial of safe custody. (…) The protagonistico triangle comes out in commendable fashion, with the soprano Dimitra Theodossiou (Floria Tosca) in the prominent colleagues – has been good both: the tenor AlejandroRoy (Cavaradossi) and the baritone Thomas Hall (Scarpia) – for voice and expressive look . The public has been shown to accept a long applauding at the end.
