Gaspare Spontini (Maiolati Spontini, 1774-1851): uncovering his genius, his works, and the places he lived in: Maiolati Spontini, Naples, Paris and Berlin. A photographic exhibition "Gaspare Spontini, a biography in images" prepared by the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini, originally displayed in the Foyer of the Theatre of Erfurt, Germany. The principal aim of the exhibition is to acknowledge the 'partnership' between the Foundation and the  German theatre, during the official celebrations of the 200th anniversary of cultural relations between France and Germany 1806-2006 and to stimulate and develop the interest of international audiences for works of this great Composer.
