On the occasion of the Third Centenary of Pergolesi’s birth (Jesi, 1710 - Pozzuoli, 1736) the Pergolesi Spontini Foundation organizes not only artistic and musicological activities, but also initiatives aimed at promoting culture, tourism and economy in Le Marche region.
The Foundation and « Il Cioccolato di BruCo » - one of the 10 best companies in Italy specialized in handcrafted chocolate – have produced “the Pergolesi”, three irresistible pralines of pure dark chocolate, obtained from the finest blend of the best South American cocoa varieties, with the addition of a note of Extra Virgin Oil, from the olives of our hills. The art of chocolate meets in this way the Mediterranean taste.
Since October 2009 two new pralines have been composed : “the Spontini” ( fine extra dark chocolate with a note of sour black cherry) and “the Rossini” (fine extra dark chocolate with a note of truffle) in honor of the two composers who, together with Pergolesi, constitute the triad of the great musicians from Le Marche.
You can find and taste “the Pergolesi” “the Spontini” and “the Rossini” at:
- Biglietteria Teatro G.B. Pergolesi (Piazza della Repubblica, 9 - Jesi AN)
